Sex drive vs. golf drive:
Player sues PGA over testosterone
Doug Barron is a 35 year old man who is getting monthly testosterone shots and has been for many years now. His testosterone level was as low as 78 which is indeed really low. A normal man’s testosterone level should be from anywhere between 300 and 500. These shots are supposed to sharpen a man’s focus and precision which is exactly what you need in strategy for playing the sport of golf. All drugs and dope were ban from golf and many other Olympic sports as well. Doug is suing the PGA because he has a medical condition which he thinks should give him leeway in continuing to take the testosterone shots each month. The board denied him when he asked for a ride in the golf cart because his condition wasn’t that serious and it would mess up the game. He just wanted to be a 35 year old man, nothing else. Most men his age feel the need to act as if they were younger and their sex life is usually active, but his was not. He didn’t even want anything to do with his wife or children. The testosterone shots were helping him feel like a man again.

Kate was floating down the Delaware River on afternoon, when her boat hit an intense rapid. The rapid pushed her boat so far over to the right side that it put her in danger. A mysterious talking tree was swaying in the cold cold wind miles in front of her. She tried to ask him for directions but she couldn’t see or hear a thing, with all the chaos, and hit her head on a long bent branch growing from the tree. She was left unconscious for hours. When she
awoke she was floating in the middle of an ocean alone. Her boat was broken! She sat there for about a half hour when she got thirsty. She decided to bend over the boat and plunge her head into the water to fetch some water to cure her thirst. As her head dove in, it was stopped as it hit a large wooden heart-shaped box. She was sort of mad since she never got her portion of water, but at the same time astonished, as she took the box out of the ocean anyway. She opened it slowly, anticipating something freaky or dead to pop out, and was quite disappointed. Inside the box was a piece of paper folded symmetrically several times. It was a map! She followed the map to a big big wall; then she came to a halt. There was a gate door, so of course as curious as could be, she went inside it. She kept paddling as the gate door shut closed behind her. She heard a dark deep voice, but just couldn’t see it. It echoed within the darkness. The voice said “Ha ha! Now you’re trapped in here; the never ending wall and you’ll never ever be able to escape!”

1 Cartoons – Cartoons such as Spongebob Squarepants make me laugh out loud. The reason for this is because the cartoon shows are so unbelievable unrealistic that I can’t help but to laugh sometimes. I leave cartoons on in the mornings before school so when I get ready I can hear them in the background.
2 Clarissa Marchia – If there is one person in the world that can make me laugh, it’s definitely Clarissa. There hasn’t been one moment in my life when Clarissa has failed to make me smile. Even when she’s not speaking out loud, usually I can tell what she’s thinking and it makes me burst out laughing. Even though she moved away, she still finds ways to make me laugh somehow.
3 Others getting hurt – It might sound bad, but I can’t control myself from smiling when someone happens to get hurt. If I see someone fall down, I laugh or flash a smile. I really don’t know why I find it amusing but it’s not my fault. I laugh when I watch those hysterical videos on youtube.com of people crashing into or falling off of things.
4 Step Brothers – Step Brothers is a movie and it makes me laugh every single time that I watch it. I think I know the lines of each character by heart. The two main actors make me laugh in any movie they’re in so it’s inevitable that this movie makes me chuckle.
5 Carlo Ghione – Carlo always makes me laugh. He always knows what to say especially when I’m in a horrible mood. Most things that come out of his mouth are funny to me. He’s a great friend and should do stand up comedy.
6 Scooter – Scooter is my cat. He makes me laugh when he jumps from things and misses. One time he jumped from my bed to my air conditioner, except he missed and crashed into the middle of it. When I yell at him sometimes he takes his paw and decides to punch me in the face. (I’m not lying)

- Sharron Thornton
Sharron Thornton was a sixty year old woman with one child. She was living the semi-normal life. She was diagnosed with Stevens-Johnsons syndrome. She was blind for nine years, which almost made her want to commit suicide. It was one of her teeth and a procedure surgeons said was never before done in the United States that restored her sight. They took one of her healthy teeth out and part of the patient’s jawbone. Perez said Thornton was given a jawbone implant, but she developed a sinus infection, so they removed it. The tooth and bone were then shaved and sculpted, and a hole was drilled into them to hold the prosthetic lens. Then the whole unit was implanted into Thornton’s chest and left for several months, allowing the tooth and lens to bond. Then they implanted it all into her eye. “What the surgery meant to her is hope. She lost hope of ever seeing again,” the doctor said, and was especially distressed that she might never see the granddaughter born while she was blind. This procedure helped an old woman see again.

Can you do these stretches sitting down or standing up?
You can do them standing up or standing down. Whichever is good for you works best. I prefer doing them sitting down to save time rather than getting up and walking around. Of course, if I’m not as busy and have time to kill I would consider standing up and stretching.
What posture should you always begin at?
You should always begin at a neutral position either standing or sitting down. Any other position is bad for the body and could cause pain or tension in your back and neck.
Why is breathing helpful?
Breathing is helpful because it allows the blood to circulate through your body. Your body tightens up and gets tense when you’re not breathing. Breathing properly also prevents cramps in muscles.
Chose three of these stretches as your favorite. Why did you select them?
Shoulder Rolls – I liked the shoulder rolls best because my shoulders usually get tight after a while. They loosen them up.
WindMills – I liked the Windmills because not only do they loosen my shoulders but the arms also.
Hand Fans – I liked the Hand Fans because they got rid of the tension in my fingers and hands. They let the blood flow and circulation comes back into my hands too.
Wrist Bends – The wrist bends feel really good because they’re always in the same position for the longest. While my fingers and arms are moving my wrists stay still so the stretch allows me to give them a break.

Honestly, I’ve been wanting to attend St. Mary’s High School my entire life. Ever since fourth grade when I heard about it I just set my mind too it. My friend Clarissa and I decided that we would go there together. The plans were forever permanently set inside my brain. A big reason why I chose St Marys was because of the color scheme. Blue is my favorite color and has been since I was little so knowing I would be able to wear it everyday was a great thing. I’ve been attending Catholic school since I was three, so choosing another Catholic school was pretty necessary because I didn’t want to have to adapt to a completely new environment. I love the school spirit here because it peps me up and I’m rarely in a bad mood. Everyone here is close and it really feels like I’m part of one huge family. When I came to an open house here I enjoyed every single activity I heard about. I tried out for the girl’s soccer team and I made it. Now, not only am I part of a family in school, but I’m also part of another family on the soccer field. It’s the same way with Cheer leading when I practice that during the Winter. The teachers are amazing, well, the ones I’ve had so far are anyway. I’ve become real close to them to the point where I’m not afraid to say hello to them in the hallways occasionally. If I could recommend St Mary High School to every single student in the world I definitely would.

My favorite childhood memory is when I purchased my first pet. I’ve had other pets but they were never mine. They were all the family dogs or cats. I bought a hamster while accompanied by my parents. I was looking around for the right one, but I just couldn’t find it. Then, there I saw the cutest little bundle of fur I’ve ever seen. He was tiny and brown. His tail was smaller than a piece of lint. The pet store worker took him out of the glass case. He let me hold him. He was checking if the hamster was a boy or a girl and the hamster let out a loud squeak. Sure enough, it was a boy. My young, foolish, and immature mind thought up the most ridiculous name. I had named my hamster Squeaky.
